MMDA MC 06 Conduction Sticker Relative to UVVRP Implementation

This informs you of the new MMDA (Metro Manila Development Authority) regulatory requirement on brand new vehicles pertinent to the implementation of the UVVRP (United Vehicular Volume Reduction Program) or the number-coding scheme.

 MMDA Memorandum Circular 06 series of 2013 stipulates that new vehicles which are still without any LTO license plates installed shall be covered by the UVVRP using the last numerical digit of the conduction sticker to determine the day when the subject vehicle is banned.

 As such, owners and dealers of brand new vehicles shall be required to display the conduction sticker number prominently on the spaces allotted for regular license plates in front and at the rear of the vehicle. 

 In view of the foregoing, all motor vehicles for release should be provided with temporary vanity plate indicating the conduction sticker code using the prescribed template hereunder:

The MMDA Memo Circular 06 was published in Manila Times on April 6, 2013, taking effect 15 days thereafter.
